i remembered last Therdsday physics lecture. that was impressive for me.i learned physics when i was a highschool student, but the lecture tought what i learned was lack for significant concept.
that lecture took the first step by defining "what is energy." the word "energy" is a common word for us, but we cannot explain this word. this difficulty was what i could not learn in the past. the definition of "energy" is "the capability of the working toward the thig."
as soon as we decide this, the new question emerged. that was "what is working?" this also seemed to be difficult. but i learned this, "working is power * distance." i,however, noticed that i do not know "what is power?"
through these questioning, i restarted learning physics.
It's only that I remember the definitions of physics words, but as you say, I'm not confident of explaining these words. If we understand them deeply, we may be able to improve physics. Also, considering of it, there are many difficult words which we can't understand and explain their concepts around us.
